Terms of Service

Short version: you order a video, we make it, you get one round of revisions (or more if you buy them), and you can use the finished video to promote your business. Payments are non-refundable once work starts.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you (the client) and PunchCut Media ("we", "us"). By placing an order or paying, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

2. What we do

We create short-form video ads (for example for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts). Depending on the package and add-ons, this may include scripting, editing, captions, motion graphics, 3D animation, music and sound design. Package details and prices are shown on our website. The price shown is a starting price; we confirm the final price and details by email before you pay.

3. Orders and payment

Your order is confirmed when we accept it by email or when you pay, whichever comes first.
Prices are in US dollars. Monthly plans are billed each month until you cancel.
Launch offers or discounts apply only when we confirm them in writing.

4. Delivery

Standard delivery is 3 to 5 days after we have everything we need from you. Rush orders are delivered within 24 hours. Delivery times start once your order is confirmed and you have sent any material we asked for.

5. Revisions

Every one-off video includes 1 round of revisions. You can buy extra revision rounds (+$10 each).
Monthly plans include 1 round of revisions per video.
A revision means changes to the delivered video (text, timing, music, small edits). A completely new concept or script counts as a new order.
Ask for revisions within 14 days of delivery. After that, the video is treated as accepted.

6. Your content and responsibilities

If you send us logos, photos, videos, music, scripts, product claims or any other material, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of offers, prices and claims shown in your video. You agree to cover any costs or claims that come from material you supplied.

We may refuse work that is illegal, hateful, misleading or that we aren't comfortable making.

7. Music

If you request a specific song, we'll try to use it, but commercial use of popular songs often needs a licence that platforms or rights holders control. Where a song can't be cleared, we may use a royalty-free or licensed track instead. You are responsible for how you publish videos that use music you requested.

8. Your licence to use the video

Once you've paid in full, you get a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, publish and share the delivered video to promote your business, on any platform, including paid ads. You may not resell the video itself as a stock asset. We keep ownership of our project files, templates, characters and tools, and stock footage or music we use stays under its own licence.

9. Our portfolio

We may show the finished video (and short clips or stills from it) on our website and social media as an example of our work. If you don't want this, just tell us in writing (email [email protected]) before or after delivery and we'll keep it private or take it down.

10. Sample-brand concept ads

Some videos on our website are concept ads for fictional sample brands, made to show what we can do. Any resemblance to a real business is unintentional. They are not paid endorsements and don't mean any real business is our client.

11. Refunds

All purchases are non-refundable once work has started or the order is confirmed. Details are in our Refund Policy.

12. Results

We work hard to make videos that perform, but we can't guarantee views, followers, sales or any other result.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we provide our services "as is", and our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The version in place when you ordered applies to that order. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time; it stops at the end of the current paid month.

15. Governing terms

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where PunchCut Media is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any mandatory consumer protection laws of your home country still apply. We'll always try to solve problems by talking first: email [email protected].
